This
compact (pocket sized) and easy to use USB Programmable Power Supply is
designed to provide a programmable DC voltage of up to 12V and a current
supply / limiter of up to 500mA. The voltage setting has a resolution of
190uV per steps and the current setting has a resolution of 1mA per steps.
PPS6W is used by Electronics Design Engineers, Test Engineers, Technicians
as well as hobbyist for their day to day design, test, repair and debugging
needs. It is a perfect replacement for your old bulky bench type power
supply that takes lots of space and has no way of controlling it remotely.
This is a great tool for Test Systems Engineer, ATE (Automated Test Equipment)
designer or any one that wants to power up a hardware through their PC.
PPS6W's Voltage and Current can be adjusted, monitored and trusted time
after time with update rate of 150mS.
Other
major benefit with PPS6W is the calibration option, where you can calibrate
to get the exact voltage at the destination after your long wires, relays
and any other devices that you have between the PPS6W and your final product
(refer to User
Manual for details).
The
package includes PPS6W, USB cable and a test lead to connect to your circuit
or hardware with a free downloadable software. It also comes with DLL and
LIB that you could write your own code and use it on your software application.
We even included a LabVIEW example VI that get you started in no time.
PPS6W
remembers its last settings, this is particularly handy if there is a power
down situation or if the device needs to be programmed and moved to a different

PPS6W
unit has a tri-colour LED to indicate power up, USB communication status
and Fault condition indicator.
Software
application displays: Voltage Set value, Voltage read value, Current Set
value, Current read value, Error & Warning status and internal temperature.

Power
pack is NOT provided due to different regulation for each country as well
as trying to keep the cost down. However, PPS6W can work with any 18V -
24V DC power pack/supply with 2.5mm/5.5mm plug with center positive. (refer
to User
Manual for details).
