Controls System Overview page - General Product Overview
The
SPLat CC16 provides a basic digital controller block with 16 digital I/O
points (expandable). Each point can be an input or an output. This is the
lowest cost controller in the world with proper, real-world inputs and
output. Each output can sink up to 500mA at 24V, and the inputs are compatible
with industry standard NPN sensors or mechanical switches. The CC16 uses
a 10-24VDC power supply at about 100mA
It's
the size of a credit card and priced like loose change, yet this little
marvel packs a real punch. 16 industrial strength digital I/O points, a
whopping 25K of program memory, floating point, high speed counting and
more. The CC16 is indisputably the world's most affordable solution in
applications that require plain digital I/O in a ready to wire in format.
CC16OEM
This
is the bare CC16 board, for OEM use. The most economical way ever of
buying
an expandable off-the-shelf controller with 16 digital I/Os. Matching I/O
connectors
are included. If you need the CD we recommend the Developer's Kit.
CC16DK
This
is a complete CC16 Developer's Kit. It contains the CC16 controller board,
all matching I/O connectors and all our programming software, tutorials
and other file resources on CD. It also contains a PC232 programming cable/adaptor.
You need at least one PC232 to program the CC16. This is the same cable
as used with the MS12x controller.
CC16BB
This
Breakout Board is designed specially to simplify the development process
using the CC16. It provides convenient screw terminal connections for power
and all I/O, plus indicator LEDs on all I/O and DIP switches for activating
inputs. With the CC16BB you can get your program 90% tested without ever
having to connect it to any external devices. Ships with the mounting hardware
pictured, which acts as feet for the combined assembly to sit on your work
bench. The CC16BB can be unplugged from the CC16 without undoing any screws.
